This is the first time we put A down on the ground during the camping trip. She immediately proceeded to put pine needles, sticks and dirt into her mouth as fast as she could. The good thing is that kids can pretty much survive eating anything.

H.

Lots of cousins.

Camping on Easter weekend. H and K on either end with L their cousin in the middle.

A was having some trouble with her eyes. The pediatrician said it was blocked tear ducts. They were pretty goopy and she would wake up with her eyes glued shut with it. They're better now though.

S modified the little car with a little seatbelt from an old stroller. K loves to push A around in the new car. A thinks she is actually steering. Aren't kids cute?

Mmmmmm, hats...

H and K on the same tree together that they were just on separately.

H on the same tree that K was just on.

K on a tree.

That string in her mouth is attached to my hat. Again, her taste for hats was heretofore unknown to us.

One can never have too many images of babies. With hats.

Apparently A likes hats. This is something we did not realize before this incident. We have incorporated hats into her regular diet now.

S and A. Note the hats.

We saw the mexican gray wolves. There were two females there, and they are usually pretty hard to see, hiding in the back. The wolves came walking down the periphery of the enclosure, dragging their sides along the chainlink fence. It was kind of funny and strange. Then the alpha female chased the other one around for a while.

Another zoo trip. This time with more hats!!

I don't remember if it was muffins or oatmeal. Hard to tell from the pic, but I'm pretty sure it was oatmeal.

In the big freaking fake giant clam shell.

This is one of my favorite places in the zoo, shady and cool, and there's a great display to the left with golden lion tamarins and green oropendolas and blue-crowned motmots along with some other birds. The green oropendolas make the coolest sound.

Do I even need to caption this one?

This is from our zoo trip. It was cool to see the big-horned sheep up close, they're usually way up on the mountain.

This image needs a bit of color help, sorry.

What a beautiful kid.

This is probably my favorite one of A.

I don't know what S did to get A to sit long enough for an image that's not out of focus, but she's got some kind of mommy magic that she worked for this one.

On 2/13/6 S set up a makeshift portrait studio in the living room. Here are the results. I was pretty impressed with the results. They're at least as good as Target's or Walmart's, in my untrained opinion.
